Highland Horizon - Round Rock TX

A new community is taking shape in the Round Rock real estate community. Located on the east bound side of FM 620 and Great Oaks Trail near the HEB Plus grocery store. Highland Horizon looks to offer homes beginning in the $200’s with builders like David Weekly and Streetman Homes. According to information received in February of 2009 there is a proposed State-of-the-art pool complex and Playscape that may be built in the neighborhood. The community is also slated to have a Homeowners Association and will be included in the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District. Homes in this community will have Austin mailing addresses even though the community feeds to Round Rock ISD schools.

Builders in Highland Horizon include Streetman Homes. Currently the Streetman Homes model is located on 204 Southern Cross Drive, Austin, TX 78717. Streetman plans to build most lots in the 50 foot section during their first phase with a few lots in the 60’s, 70’s, several in the 80’s and a few more that are as large as 100 feet.

RRISD Schools

According to Streetman’s community information the currently slated RRISD schools for this neighborhood are: Deepwood Elementary, Cedar Valley Middle School, and McNeil High School. (School boundaries and ratings are subject to change. Visit Round Rock ISD for most up to date information.)

Location of Highland Horizon

From a location perspective this is a tremendous opportunity to own a new home in an otherwise established area of communities including Brushy Creek, Cat Hollow, and Fern Bluff/Stone Canyon. Just a block or so east of this intersection on FM 620 you will find grocery shopping, childcare, banking, Blockbuster, and Papa Murphy’s Pizza all in one cluster. There are numerous parks within a mile and the ever popular Brushy Creek Trails at the end of O’Connor Drive.
